Royal Carribean

Every year Futurity First, Corby's employer, sets goals and if you achieve them they take you far far away and treat you like royalty. Corby has surpassed the goal each year, securing us an all expense paid vacay for just the two of us.This year it was an Eastern Caribbean Cruise.
We flew to Fort Lauderdale Florida and stayed in a 5 star hotel. We arrived with enough time to take an Uber and do some temple work.
It was beautiful!

The weather was beautiful and the temple even more. So grateful our schedule allowed this detour

The following morning we were shuttled over to the cruise ship. It was HUGE! our ship had a rock wall, ice skating rink, two pool areas, splash pad, mall, and so much more. It was newly renovated so that made it extra nice
Corby reached the "Presidential level" so we were even more spoiled. Check out our room. That bed was the most comfortable thing, pretty close to my comfy bed at home.

We had our own private balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset and the views of the beautiful water and countries we visited.
 First stop, Belize!
We did a cave tubing expedition here. It was full of stalagmites and bats. Kind of creepy but so fun at the same time. We each wore head lamps and without the lights on it was stone black, could not see your hand in front of your face. After the tubing expedition we were taken to a little place in the jungle and fed "mystery meat" as our tour guide referred to it. He also called it the 4 legged chicken known as the 35lb rat.  I was super hungry when I heard that. Luckily, it was chicken and oh so yummy. The tour guide took us through the city and wow, is it poverty stricken. So so sad to see how others live. I am so grateful for the life I get to live. So so grateful.
Cozumel was our next stop. Corby  did a helmet head excursion. He wore a helmet similar to the ones you scuba dive with and he walked on the ocean floor, down 25 feet deep. It was gorgeous and he has an entire Cd with all his adventure. Ask him to show it to you sometime. I went shopping in the city for souvenirs. I went with a lady and her husband in our group. After 4 hours of being attacked by the vultures(street vendors) I was good and ready to board the ship again.

I look forward to this trip each year. I have made some dear friends from Oklahoma so its always so fun to get reacquainted with them. They are such humble people and are so kind. There are so many people that are top notch. I love surrounding myself with this caliber of peeps. As a special surprise this year, we were invited to join with the group of others who made presidential level to eat dinner in a paid restaurant on the ship(for those who don't know, cruises include everything except a few fancier restaurants and they are an additional $25 to $35 a plate). We were invited by one of the owners to join him for the evening. It was fancy! Corby was given an envelope full of cash and I received a necklace from Tiffany and Co.. I could get use to this lifestyle.
We could not have enjoyed this time away without the help of Teesh, my neighbor, and so many others. I had to ask 5 people to do my life......that is just totally insane.
Vacations are always so wonderful but after 8 days I was ready to get home to my normal routine and see my pumpkins.

Hello

I feel as though I should introduce myself and family again........its been a long time!!!!
Lots has happened this past year. My plan is to catch up, but I feel like it's best to start present and work backward as time allows. So many pivotal moments have happened this past year, they must not be forgotten.
Since July of 2015 we have had a daughter return from the Philippines, a daughter graduate high school(same daughter move out and attend college), attended many many dance competitions, advanced to full day school(jazz hands) and so much more.

Let's catch up! Here's a glimpse in a day we live so far. Malia dances for Taylorsville High Dance Co which requires her to be at school every morning at 6AM. That is early peeps but her dedication goes a long way. My dedication has to match hers since she is 15 with no drivers license(11more days but who's counting). Malia also dances for a private studio and is on two separate dance teams there which fills her evenings, as late as 10PM. We are so proud of Malia as even with that rigorous schedule, she continues to maintain her 4.0 GPA. I need to add that her class schedule is full of AP courses and Honors, that Malia is a go get-er. Anyway, slight tangent(that might happen a lot as I catch up) Bria takes piano lessons and hip hop class. Ada dances for same private dance company so throw in two nights a week for her practice. I am in YW's (best calling ever) and corby in Sunday School. We have very little down time and we just repeat our motto a lot. Just keep swimming Just keep swimming. These days are the best days of our lives,(winkie face)

Next up,  the Littles, aka Bria and Ada. We leave for school by 7:20AM. We carpool so I do morning shift and our carpool buddies pick up(dream come true as Malia needs a ride and I am only one soul) I continue to work out every morning. I signed up with a personal trainer in November so that has been fun to change things up and as of a few days ago I have lost 23 lbs of fat gained 11lbs of muscle down 14% body fat and lost over 21.25 inches. I am super pleased and those results make the sacrificing not so tough. I am about half way to my goal so I will continue to update. Corby worked with the same trainer and lost 30 lbs of fat and 14% body fat as well. I know I know most say Corby did not have 30 lbs to lose. He has been maintaining and so far he is super pleased with his results.
Teesh was able to finally find a Dr/life coach to help heal herself and get on the right path. She works at Prestige Financial full time and...............has a boyfriend. More on this topic later alligator.
Sierra lives in Provo. She attends UVU and works full time at 1-800-CONTACTS. She is social as ever and always has a plan brewing. She is working towards earning a trip to the Dominican Republic in May. She will teach English there for a little under 4 months. I will miss her guts immensely but she needs this experience and its her dream so I choose to support.
Corby still works for Futurity First. He has received several awards the past year(wish I knew all their names)and earns lots of all expense paid trips. Speaking of trips, we are leaving on one of those in a week. "We are leaving on a jetplane, don't know when I'll be back again"......ok we are gone a week. Can't wait to spend some quality time with each other. Thanks to Teesh and good friends to make it all possible during dance season. More on that when we return. I will for surely post to die for pictures of all our adventures. Stay tuned.
The past year we have remodeled 2 of our 3 bathrooms and our master bedroom. We are currently working on our pantry and littles room. Kitchen will be up next with a new coat of paint throughout the remainder of the house.
Corby and I have both been personally mentoring with some amazing people and the goals we are achieving are knocking our socks off. I have been teaching classes and seminars to spread the amazing news. Did you know you don't have to live miserably? Did you know you aren't stuck in the life you currently life, unless of course your like it? Did you know hurt people hurt? Did you know if the same negative behavior follows you around its actually coming from you? I love sharing so please please don't stay miserable.....I am here.
Anyway, I am back and hopefully I can get back to up to date quick. Remember I am out of the country for a week so don't feel all hope is lost when the updates don't happen soon.
