Ada Rae's First Day

I am not even sure how this day has arrived. I don't want this day here but I do. Either way, Ada Rae begins kindergarten to day. She was placed in the afternoon class, never had that before so this ought to be interesting. Ada did not want to pose so her pictures are goofy, appropriate though if you know her at all.

She loves to go cross eyed, drives me a little bonkers!

Well, we made it to the school. She wanted me to walk her in, whew, Malia did not, she was like bye and ran in. I was so crushed. Thanks Ada for obliging her mother and her need to walk you into school.
Have you ever seen anything cuter? Plaid jumpers, white knee high socks, and white peter pan collar shirt, melts my heart. So cute!
my heart right there

Ada Rae has three teachers, Mrs. Odulio, Mrs. Corbett, and  Mrs. Green. Here goes nothing. Enjoy your first of many great fabulous years!!!!

First Day

Sierra started her Senior year Monday the 25th. I can't believe this beauty is a senior. I just brought her home from the hospital weighing in at 6#14ozs. Oh my, am I ready for this? Sierra was in an assembly as a SBO member. I got to go watch and cheer. When Sierra was announced, the crowd roared, made my heart happy, Love the Kilt

The following day was Malia, Bria and Ada's first days. Because Ada has afternoon Kindergarten She wasn't available for the early morning shoot. Sierra wearing her SBO sweater and Malia and Bria their school uniforms. I love love the school uniforms. Nothing cuter than a little girl in a plaid jumper with a cross tie. Malia is a good sport to endure her blue oxford shirt with blue or khaki skirts. Hope this year is the best. Malia is a 9th grader and Bria a 1st grader.

Bria has Mrs. Stoll. She is from England and speaks with an accent. She is a wonderful teacher and Bria is excited to go all day and get 3 whole recesses.

Malia had to think long and hard about attending NPA as a 9th grader. I am so glad she decided to stay. It will be the best year yet little sweetie. Malia will be attending Zero Hour Seminary (AKA Early Morning Seminary) at Taylorsville High School, Tuesday-Thursday from 6:10 to 7:15.

This day has finally arrived. Registering for the final time. Unbelievable to comprehend.
Sierra is enrolled in the IB Program. Good luck sweetie, you got this.

No words but I love you and you are going to love being a senior.

After the 1st day, I created a new tradition of homemade cookies greeting them upon their return. Yum, the smell of homemade cookies, nothing better.

Such a great group of girls. I love you to the moon and back. Go get em Rams, Bruin Bear, and NPA

Ogden Temple

Corby is always so "johnny on the spot" to get tickets for family outings. Ogden Temple has been completely renovated and has been out of commission for over 4 years. It was a complete transformation. It was beautiful before but now absolutely stunning! My girls were all supportive of their father's tickets, we even invited a straggler

 The tour was amazing.

We had to wear these stylish booties to protect the carpets.

I love to see the temple, I am going there someday. I hope that going inside is a goal for my beautiful daughters. You won't find a place on earth that compares to the feeling in the temple. The temple has provided me many answers to questions and countless hours of much needed love and tender mercy.

 Look Rod got a haircut

We then walked through the tabernacle

To top off a fantastic trip, we went to our favorite, Burger Bar.
These hamburgers are simply a bite of heaven. Homemade buns, fry sauce with divine french fries, what more could a taste bud want?

Lost Tooth Club

Bria has been super excited for the day to join ranks of the lost tooth club.
Wait no longer sweetie, the day has arrived.
Her bottom left front tooth became wobbly and was for a few weeks. When we thought of it, we gently reminded Bria to wiggle that puppy out. She had a teeth cleaning and the dentist pointed out how the permanent tooth was peeking up behind, never a good sign.
So the gentle nudges became more of a strong request.
On Sunday, I was speaking in Sacrament Meeting and I saw Bria and Corby get up and leave during my talk.  "Hello, what did I say?" moment.
After the meeting had ended Bria jetted to the stand to reveal her latest, most fantastic news.
Love this little angel and her energy.

Bria lost her first tooth 3 weeks to turning 7 years old

Misc

Nothing  sweeter than coming home to this sign. Are you kidding me? Bria you are so sweet and always know when I need a pick me up.

Ada picked me some roses from our front yard to accompany the note. Awe, I love being a mom
One thing about Ada, She does not like to conform. She wears what she wants, when she wants. It is always a surprise to find what she has put on when she comes out of her bedroom each morning. Love this firecracker.
Meet the no cavity clubbers! Yay for brushing and flossing. Teesh and Malia will join soon.
Just a glimpse of our everyday life. Couldn't be happier with these sweeties I get to spend my day with.
