Royal Carribean

Every year Futurity First, Corby's employer, sets goals and if you achieve them they take you far far away and treat you like royalty. Corby has surpassed the goal each year, securing us an all expense paid vacay for just the two of us.This year it was an Eastern Caribbean Cruise.
We flew to Fort Lauderdale Florida and stayed in a 5 star hotel. We arrived with enough time to take an Uber and do some temple work.
It was beautiful!

The weather was beautiful and the temple even more. So grateful our schedule allowed this detour

The following morning we were shuttled over to the cruise ship. It was HUGE! our ship had a rock wall, ice skating rink, two pool areas, splash pad, mall, and so much more. It was newly renovated so that made it extra nice
Corby reached the "Presidential level" so we were even more spoiled. Check out our room. That bed was the most comfortable thing, pretty close to my comfy bed at home.

We had our own private balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset and the views of the beautiful water and countries we visited.
 First stop, Belize!
We did a cave tubing expedition here. It was full of stalagmites and bats. Kind of creepy but so fun at the same time. We each wore head lamps and without the lights on it was stone black, could not see your hand in front of your face. After the tubing expedition we were taken to a little place in the jungle and fed "mystery meat" as our tour guide referred to it. He also called it the 4 legged chicken known as the 35lb rat.  I was super hungry when I heard that. Luckily, it was chicken and oh so yummy. The tour guide took us through the city and wow, is it poverty stricken. So so sad to see how others live. I am so grateful for the life I get to live. So so grateful.
Cozumel was our next stop. Corby  did a helmet head excursion. He wore a helmet similar to the ones you scuba dive with and he walked on the ocean floor, down 25 feet deep. It was gorgeous and he has an entire Cd with all his adventure. Ask him to show it to you sometime. I went shopping in the city for souvenirs. I went with a lady and her husband in our group. After 4 hours of being attacked by the vultures(street vendors) I was good and ready to board the ship again.

I look forward to this trip each year. I have made some dear friends from Oklahoma so its always so fun to get reacquainted with them. They are such humble people and are so kind. There are so many people that are top notch. I love surrounding myself with this caliber of peeps. As a special surprise this year, we were invited to join with the group of others who made presidential level to eat dinner in a paid restaurant on the ship(for those who don't know, cruises include everything except a few fancier restaurants and they are an additional $25 to $35 a plate). We were invited by one of the owners to join him for the evening. It was fancy! Corby was given an envelope full of cash and I received a necklace from Tiffany and Co.. I could get use to this lifestyle.
We could not have enjoyed this time away without the help of Teesh, my neighbor, and so many others. I had to ask 5 people to do my life......that is just totally insane.
Vacations are always so wonderful but after 8 days I was ready to get home to my normal routine and see my pumpkins.
