Graduation 2013

June 5th, 2013

The day I held my first baby daughter in my arms, I thought I was the luckiest momma around. Within her first weeks of life, I figured out what year she would graduate, hey, don't judge me I had  a lot of time on my hands while I nursed the little Parana every 2 hours. The year seemed so far away and guess what.......It has arrived. Graduation from High School is upon us.
Sierra made a sign to hang in our front window.

Sierra and Malia made cute little graduation hats.
Thank you pinterest!

Teesh needed to be to the Huntsman Center a couple of hours early for photos and lining up. My awesome friend Misty offered to take the girls, 5 and 3 year old's don't mix with graduation. I owe her the biggest diet coke for that favor. Indebted for sure. So incredibly grateful for friends I can count on.

We dropped the little ones off and headed to the Huntsman Center. Grandma Hansen came down to support, as usual. Teesh met up with her classmates and we found our seats. The graduation really wasn't that bad. It lasted less than two hours. Teesh looked beautiful. Grandma made me smile through out the evening as she would thumb through the program looking at names and wondering if she knew them since similar names resided in her neighborhood..........

After the ceremony we took more photos and then let Teesh call the evening. She wanted a spicy chicken sandwich from McDees and then we headed to Leatherby's.

We had a great evening together sharing ice cream, brownies, and french fries. Teesh became $700 richer tonight as she achieved our family challenge. If Teesh could graduate high school and turn 18 without kissing, we would give her the moola. Destination achieved!
Teesh congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment. Now onto bigger and better things.
What a great example Teesh has been to our family. I love these three hormonal teenagers!

Grandma Hansen and Teesh have always shared a special bond. So thankful she was able to be a part of this occasion.
Could you ask for a more beautiful day? Wow, it was an amazing event.
Teesh is solving the world's issues with her fellow IB coherts.
This is not all of them, but close. Small little smart group of awesomeness.
Victoria and Teesh. Thankful for great friends.
While waiting for the ceremony to begin here is bored Corby taking photos of some of the awards Teesh earned through out high school.
Here is Teesh and Victoria making their entrance

Isn't she just so precious!

We are lucky that our Stake President is also our school principal.

Teesh making her way down the line of teachers who helped her to achieve this graduation.

And the finished product...Teesh with her actual diploma

We had eaten dinner so early, all three girls were hungry by the end of the ceremony. Sierra was begging for a spicy chicken sandwich from McDees, so we appeased her and then headed to Leatherby's.

We had a great evening together sharing ice cream, brownies, and french fries.
