Utah State Fair

Call this the year of first's or rarely get to do year.
We headed to the Utah State Fair for FHE one Monday. The fair attracts the most interesting folks. I love going to people watch. I just hope people weren't people watching me, ha ha.
Some of the cutest apples I have ever seen.
I decided to not bring Clarissa on this outing, big mistake. So these photos are taken with Corby's phone. Look at the size of the rabbits. There were cages and cages of beautiful, fuzzy, colorful rabbits.
I gave my girls a quiz.
Hey, girls what kind of animals are these?
Um, I don't know a baby cow?
Maybe we need to spend a little more time in farm country. You just have to love the faces little Ada Rae is constantly pulling. She is a character for sure.
My favorite animal growing up. I had a collection of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. Pigs will always be awesome.
If you paid a donation to help feed this owl, you got your picture taken with the critter. We were told he eats several mice a day. Expensive little fella but oh so cute.

Make your momma proud doing your pull ups girls. Don't mind the small helper in the background doing most of the pull up. ;)
World's Tallest Lady at the Fair. Lucky us to get to see her. Bria kept asking, "why are your legs so long, are you stepping on something?" Little Bria, stop being so inquisitive and just enjoy her costume. That Bria is a thinker she is.

The carrot family, missing Teesh today as we were out enjoying a family outing.
This is probably our favorite part. Here's the scoop. You pay $2 or $3 depending on your age, to get into this warehouse and have as much ice cream as you want. They have all the famous local ice cream available, Farr's, Aggie Creamery, BYU Creamery, Russel's, Fat Boys, Creamies, and if that isn't enough toppings and whip cream to boot. It was a great treat at the end of our people watching.
As we were walking around looking at all the cool stuff, Bria kept asking to play one of those silly games to win a stuffed animal. As hard as I tried, she would not change her mind, so her allowance went to play a balloon game to win care bears. With the help of the employee, she was able to fulfill her dreams.
Look at this sculpture behind us. It is the cow jumping over the moon all made out of butter. We even ended up knowing the artist, such a small small world.
