Welcome to our families thoughts, adventures, and craziness

One on One

Sometimes with our family dynamics it leaves Ada home with out any plans. Tonight I decided to make it a night to remember. I gave Ada the entire evening. First she wanted to play Chutes and Ladders. It cracked me up because once I taught her the bonus of landing on the ladder, she magically would spin to land on the ladder, the longest ladder no less.
It's  about memories so I just let it slide. Plus, the smile on her face when she won was just so darn cute.
We played multiple games before me moved on to Play Doh. That idea was short lived as  our doh is all crusty and not fun anymore. Best be purchasing some more of that stuff.

After our games, we finished the evening with a little root beer float with really long handled spoons. Ada couldn't get over the long handled spoons.
See the thing draped around Ada's neck, it is full of beans that you warm up in the microwave, then put where ever you have an aliment.
Ada uses it for warmth.
The following evening Malia asked if just her and Bria could go see a movie, Malia's treat. Malia being the thoughtful girl that she has always been, bought some snacks to share during the movie. They saw the latest Disney movie, Frozen. Which I was later informed we need to buy it is so cute mom!
Yay for one on one time. Everyone needs to feel special and really there is no better way.
