Thanksgiving Hansen Version

In the Hansen Family, we rotate Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was the Corby and Jennifer Thanksgiving rotation. Since it was days after Thanksgiving we opted, more like I opted, for something different than turkey, potatoes and rolls. We chose Hawaiian Haystacks. Corby and I provided, paper products, rice, gravy and drink while others contributed toppings, dessert and salads. Most everyone was able to make it minus HyLee, Natalie and their 4 children. They live in Idaho and they needed to get on the road. We missed them. Since the flu bug was still very present I stayed back with Bria and Ada and missed the whole get together myself. Teesh was kind enough to take pictures and tell me the happens so I will relay info third party.
Sierra and Malia playing a little hoops before din din.

Nathan, Corby's youngest brother, with his little guys William and Parker. Ethan, Troy's youngest holding up the wall.

In-spite of the recent hate mail we received from Grandma Hansen, she actually attended. She was stand offish to most everyone but the small children. We hope she will seek help so we can enjoy her company once again.

Dessert
Pumpkin Roll with cute acorn decor
We had some whip topping left from Thursday so let's see if the Hansen's have coordination. Sierra, so brave, was first to show others how it's done.

Close Kaysen and Saxton spot on

Kylar, do you need to shave? Nice shot!

Emery has a style all of her own

Um, where is the adult supervision. Malia, the can is not to be sucked on!

Sam, love your moves. Arianna, preparing her launch

We asked everyone to bring a game to share with the family. When the games were completed Sierra and Troy performed a dance for us. Troy is special. Not sure why he showed up wearing this but he did and it needs to be documented for his poor children's sake. Troy are your legs cold?

Ended the evening with some volleyball and discussion for Christmas gathering. Janalee you have some talent girl!

Not sure what is going on here but there is the beginnings of a full moon about to appear. Ron pull up your britches, sheesh!

where the cool kids hung out. Tina holding Kloee, Grandma Hansen messing with her ear, William, Gelsey, Brynlee and Kale looking rather sad

Kylar and his volleyball moves
Janalee ready to send it back
Jodi, married to DeLayne with a pass

There's the evening in a nutshell. DeLayne and Corby sneaked away for a bit and gave Ada, Bria and myself priesthood blessings. It is times like this where large families are the best. Can you imagine if there was only two Hansen children. A boring gathering that would make ;)

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours
